The only challenge we experienced is that Montserrat was set up as the last stop on the tour in the hopes of the best weather throughout, but we arrived at the top of the mountain to a massive thunderstorm, and a power outage limited availability of restrooms and facilities there - nothing the tour operator could have done just bad luck. When we first arrived we headed straight to the basilica spent 15 minutes there before taking the funicular to start the hike. The hike and return trip on the funicular took around 2.15 hours, so if you plan on doing the hike to summit just make sure you keep an eye on the time and start it as soon as possible. But 10/10 recommend this activity, our guide was also amazing and had lots of fun facts and Barcelona history on the bus ride.”
